These last weeks had been a great deal for me. I’m grateful for what I had learned during this course. There are several things that changed my life. One of this was the importance of you. For me that is the whole key in this program and all the programs about entrepreneurship. An entrepreneur is that person who make things happen. In order to make those things happen he or her had to be a person of action. I think that is impossible to make a company succeed if you don’t know how to succeed with yourselve. You have to know which are those principles which will help you during life to achieve your goals. For example how will you make a company succeed if you don’t know how to set a goal? The same if with oneself, if don’t know how to set goals in your life and to make plans and act according to those plans in order to succeed. That is why I said that if a person don’t know how to do something meaningful with its own life, he or she will not able to do something meaningful for others.

I like too much what I learned in the book “The Ministry of Business” it was, for me, a look up to the big picture of what this life has for me. I recommend this book without any doubt. Those principles who are taught in this that book go to the very center of oneself and help me to ponder about the what I am doing with my life. I know every one of us want to become a better person, to do something meaningful, to do great things and serve others. The fact here is that most of people never thinks about it. The problem with that is that days pass and pass and sometimes we can discover that we had done just part of our full potential. But I said that never is too late. No matter if you are the last years of your whole existence; you can do something to improve yourself and to do something for you life. That is one of the great things in life. It never ends. The same is with entrepreneurship. This course may be finish, but the race will never ends. For that reason I said, never give up. The race never ends and you should no quit the race. The great things are for those you persist in that race.

Money in life

I think is easy to fall in love for the money, but we need to take care of it. The money I a good servant but a bad master. The way to the money will determine the kind of person we will become. If we use money wisely it will be for our good, instead if we have our eyes and heart in money it can destroy us and also all around us.

I like the phrase said by Gibson “No matter who we are or what we are doing in life, money is a necessary part of it” of course money is important. It helps to have education, a good home, we can buy cloth and food for ourselves and our family. With money we can enjoy of a great vacations and we can do great things with money. Of course money is necessary in our life and it can help us to have more happiness. But is very important to understand that happiness don’t come from money. Money is just a tool. If we don’t take care of the crucial things in life and put money as first it will destroy all the things that are around us, even ourselves.

The best way we can have a good attitude towards money is if we had set or priorities in life. When we did that we will set the money in the right place and we will use in the right way.

Leadership and his importance in life

This week I have learned several things. from all the things, the one that called my attention in a stronger way was what Jim Collins in the his book "Good to Great" calls Level 5 leadership. I read Good to Great like a year ago. I learn a lot form that reading. I love all the concepts he teaches in that book. It started in my a spark about become a great leader and leap my company to next level. I know it takes time, many 20 year, but I said to myself, "this is what I want for my future" I want to be someone that make the leap.

The concept that I thing is the most important of all is that if you want to make the leap, you have to become a level 5 leader. For me it is the only way. all the things starts because one decide or do not decide to act and make those things happen in life. I think this process is a process of all life. I like the combination of humility and a burning desire to accomplish things. I think it is very similar to the leadership I'm learning in the BYU-I. Leadership is a style of life.I'm glad that the perfect example of leadership is my savior. I am glad to have the scriptures and to study his life in order to become more like him.

I want to become a true disciple in order to become a great leader.

Trials, Lessons and Blessing Along the Journey

This week I had learned about the lessons everyone of us have in this life. The journey for every one is different. Every journey have some trials and some blessings. But it the end both of those things will be present in this life. The book of mormon tell us about this trails and blessings in the course of this life. Lehi, in his final speech to his sons, say to them “it must needs be that there was an opposition; even the forbidden fruit in opposition to the tree of life; the one being sweet and the other bitter.” Later he said this powerful phrase “Adam fell that men might be; and men are, that they might have joy.”

It normal to have difficulties and trials in this life in order to understand better what is good and what is bad. But the purpose of this is not just teach us that difference. In deed there are lesson that only can be learn through these difficult moments in our life. Those moments help us to understand better our actual state it is like real feedback from the world. It makes us more humble and in the end will help us in our journey to perfection.

The important fact is that the trials only will become a source of grow if we are humble enough to learn from that and not to blame for the trials we can have. The person who blame for their trials is not able to see the blessing behind the trial.  

Achiving mastery day by day.

This week I had learned a lot of things about how the progress in life is made and how to become a master. Personally the book call Mastery from George Leonard was a great book to read. It help to understand the principles that lead to mastery. According to what I learned from that book I will summarize it a short phrase. Determine, practice and never quit. Mastery is not like an illumination momento, instead it is the natural consequence of hours and hours of study, practice, observation, more practice, a burning desire to do great things and the willing to do things even when you don’t want to do those things. As I said it was a great reading because it is not just a simple formula to success and mastery. It is how one person really can achieve the mastery and take it for sure, it is not easy but is possible.

One of my surprises this week was to find some readings and videos about one of personal´s favorite books. It is the seven habits. First at all I have to said that I admire deeply the doctor Covey. He was a very great person and very wise too. I think he understood so well those habits because they base it upon the principles of the gospel. Maybe he didn't use the scriptures in the book but I know that all those principles are found in the scriptures. He was a true disciple of the Lord and influence the life of millions for good.

My favorite three habits are the three first. I like it because it is what is call the private victory. With that in mind if a person is able to conquer himself, he or she will be able to work in this world and make a difference for good. This person will become a light to the world and with the desire to help other will make a great change. I also like those habits because they said that you are the responsible for your life and that you can make your life whatever you want. It give me hope and it increase my understanding and believes that I am here in the earth to make great things happen.

Living the life as an entrepreneur

Living the life as an entrepreneur means that you live your life at the máximum. At least for me is that way. When you are creating a company your whole soul is there. All your efforts are there. All your thoughts are there. And Almost all things in your life turn around of your new company. I don’t saying that you are neglecting all the others aspects of your life, as your family, your personal life, your studies, etc. No! I’m not saying that. What I’m saying with this is that you are living your life with a fire and intense desire to make great things happen. It makes that you live each day with a purpose and that you what to use every minute in your day to do the best you can and do it good. As I said before, you are putting your whole soul in that Project and you want that Project become something meaningful and useful for others. In that moment is when life become meaningful by itself and it is because you feel that what you are doing is important and at the same time you are growing as a person.

There are several things that an entrepreneur have to know and some skills they have to handle if they want to become succesful. In my experience as an entrepreneur should said that the most important things are: being a good seller, creating a good service or product that improve the life of the client and take care of the money of the company and use it in order to make the company grow. If a entreprenure knows those skills he will do a great job with his new company.

A Special Mission in Life

Every one of us have special gifts, skills, character and abilities, That is what make us different from each other. This last weeks in this course have been a great and importants weeks in my life. Since I came back from my mission I’m feeling I’m here for something important. I feel that I have a mission here on Earth. And in this last five weeks This course I have helped me to understarn better what my calling is and how I can accomplish that.

One of the best things I take from this lesson is the board of advisors. As Jeff Sandefer told in his speech, I thing about ten people I admire and have them in a advising board. I liked to thing in that. It make think in the people I know and about the people I don’t know personaly but people that I have know by books. I chose some good advisors. Some of those advisor are: my wife, my mon, Heber J. Grant, captain Moroni, Dale Carnegie, Stephen Covey and as my principal mentor and chairman are God and Jesus. I like this activity because make a clear point to meditate and think more deeply at the time to take a important decision in my life. Those people have differents abilities and they have make a great contribuition to this world, at leas for me they are. With that in mind I can imagine myself sit down with them and discussing with them the differents posiblities and making a decision as a group. I will going to have that in mind for future decision to be taken.

Also I like to much what Jeff Sandefer teach in their speech. He is a very wise man and with a desire to help others to find their mission in life. I like a question they invite us to do to our friend. The questions was, I don’t remember the exact words but is something like: What thing I do better than all the other persons in the world? I did that question to some of my friends and the mayority of them told about my ability to always being learnign from every sircunstance and learnign from every person I met. They told me that ability helps me to adapt and being always improving. That make feel good about, because one of my intentions in life is to become an expert in business and leadership. As Peter Ducker once said: “the first duty of a leader is to define reality” I feel glad because my ability to see with clarity the things that suround me and take the best of that had and still help me to understan things as they are.

Each day I feel more confident with the thing I feel is my mission. That is to become a great leader for the Lord, a great business leader in the world and help millions to improve thier lives by teaching them the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
